| March 4, 2010 Grandma Z 904-608-6907 We're back! Today I finished the new 2010 Irish Step Dancer costume....sneak peek below! Next will be the First Communion set and I should have these available by the weekend...still in the design process but almost finished. I finally had time to make new sleeping bags and nightgowns for the nightwear section and just got in the new bunny slippers. The dressy dresses section has a new Flower Girl (who wears sparkling silver shoes) and in Grandma's Closet I am introducing 'Treasures for Two'....matching items for your little girl and her doll. This month I am showing a new Spring purse (very time consuming design that probably will not be offered again!). Last but not lease, the new shoes are in, they are delightful. Be sure to check out ....Grandma's Tent for Two in the nightwear section.! I only have a small supply (preparing for the Springtime show in Savannah) but will make more as the demand grows. And for the little girl who is really serious about taking care of her doll clothes and accessories....look in the accessories section. I looked at what was being offered elsewhere and knew I could do better. I hope you agree. Again, only a small supply available but will make more as time and demand dictate. My supply closet is overflowing and I am sewing just as fast as these old fingers will go...so be patient and check back for new things for the Bitty size soon. A word about the Smile Train. We are very grateful to all of you for helping us to reach our goal of 50 years = 50 smiles. Without your support and cooperation we could never have done it. Update 11/05/2009 As many of our customer know, to celebrate our 50th anniversary Don and I have been donating the proceeds from our sales to the Smile Train to help children with clefts. We are delighted to share with you that we are almost to our goal....we have donated enough to pay for surgery for 40 children so far. The 2009 Craft Show season is underway....wish us luck! |
